Where to STAY in BANGKOK ?

I don't really know about the quality of hotel in bangkok but I think it will be better if you choose somewhere around MRT or BTS station because it will be hard if you must to take a bus. maybe you can use a van but almost all of van is on victory monument (maybe you can choose somewhere around there).

BTS and MRT Maps

I think it will be better if you stay around siam, chatunchak, sukhumvit and silom.

If you stay near siam you can take BTS from Ratchathewi, Siam (CEN), and National Stadium

if you stay near chatunchak you can take direct bus to Victory Monument.

Everything will be easier if you stay near BTS or MRT station because you can just walk to the station directly.

I'll give you some advice to choose your place to stay :

#1 Low Budget :
you can find your low budget place in "Hostel World" (Link to Hostel World)
it's really famous among backpacker.

#2 Family Trip :
if you go with your family you can find more ex and more comfortable place to stay, you can check that in Agoda website or tripadvisor website.

#3 5/4 stars HOTEL :
for the best place and has a really unforgettable you can check on bangkok.com and I think if you stay around siam to on nut it's quite ex and really glamour especially thong lo. when I go to thong lo it's really nice place to hang out :D and you must to pay more.

okayyy :) see yaaaaa ~

Grand Palace (Bangkok)

Hello,

I'm come BACK again and now I will give you a little guide to Grand Palace.

First you will get in and buy a ticket in locket, 500 THB for 1 person

Entrance Gate of Grand Palace

After you look this sign just go straight and you will find another gate, you have to straight in Foreigner Line (Right) and give your brown ticket, if you are Thai Citizen you will stay at left. after that you will look around there and I will let you know some of photo that I take, and don't forget to get the information so you won't get lost without tour guide. If you want to know more I think it's better to use a tour guide but I don't know where to have a guide only for Grand Palace.

Thank you for reading ~ CHIAOO ~~ :)

P.S : Please don't use that pictures without my permission ^^ Just let me know if you want to have that picture :)

Place to EAT around Kasetsart University

CRAVING for a cheap and delicious food ? don't worry we have a lot of place to eat around Kasetsart (because I stay in Kasetsart University (KU)).

KU has many canteen, bamai (idk how to write but they say like that or central canteen) you can find a lot of food here, after that SciKU Food Court (you need a card), Engineering Canteen at Faculty of Engineering and KU Avenue (But it's more expensive than another canteen). If you want something more you can go across ngamwonwan 1 gate and you can see home village from that gate and you can see ultraman with the apron.

Home Village Kaset (Night View)

if you want to have street food you can walk to pahonyotin gate and you can walk along the street.
The famous one maybe sushi 5/10 bath and SAM (Steak and More)

if you alr feeling bored with that food you can go to Central Ladprao Plaza, Major Cineplex  (you can take bus No. 63, 24, 545 from ngamwonwan 1, ngamwonwan 3, and pahonyotin) to shopping mall and you can go to community mall but the price quite expensive, you can take a taxi from pahonyotin gate to Nawamin Festival Walk or Choco Ville

Nawamin Festival Walk

Choco Ville Bangkok

maybe if you want to go there in the same time you can go to Choco Ville first and then go to Nawamin Festival Walk so you can go to KU Directly :)

If you want to go around more you can go to Chatunchak Park (you can go directly by Bus No. 29 or 510) from vipavadi gate to Mo Chit BTS station. you can go to JJ MARKET (in weekend) and Night Market at JJ Green (everyday)

The End for TODAY ~~ :) I hope I can give you more information later :D

NEWBIE ?

Don't worry if you are a newbie when you are still get lost (no where). you can use google map to know what you must to take ~ but in thailand maybe you can use this link : http://www.transitbangkok.com/ but i think you cannot get a lot of information from there. But it's still quite helpful than you really get lost ~

In Bangkok, you can use many kind of transportation such as BTS, MRT, and Taxi maybe (but not recommended) for easier way to go somewhere :)

At the airport you can take a map from department of tourism and get some information (you can ask everything) and you can decide where you want to go and search everything in google maps. And if you want to go somewhere really look near from BTS or MRT and it's still 5-7 kms just take a taxi.

So, I'll give you some tips to go around Bangkok (just what I know now) I'll update soon after I know something more

#1 Grand Palace, I think if you want to know about Thailand you must to go to Grand Palace, It's cost 500 Bath for one people. I think if you want to go to grand palace it's better to take a taxi and you can go somewhere around there by walk (like khaosan road)

#2 Chatunchak Weekend Market, If you want to buy souvenir and clothes and FOOD you can go to Chatuncak Weekend Market or JJ Market, you can go there by MRT (Chatunchak Park) or BTS (Mo Chit Station) after you go to Chatunchak Weekend Market you can go to Chatunchak Green (Food Court) and Chatunchak Park.

#3 If you want to shopping with Air Condition you can go to Union Mall, but most of them are female cloth but if you want to go to mall just cross the road and you'll find The Plaza (Central Ladprao). you can go there by MRT (one stop after Chatunchak Park, Before Lad Prao. I forget station name) or Bus.

HELLO !! SAWADEE KA :)

Hello :) here's my greeting from BANGKOK, THAILAND.

I'm not an expert traveller but I would like to tell you more about my country (Indonesia) and Thailand where I would like to stay for 4 months ahead. my grammar is not so good but it will be better if I write this in English :) It's really nice to write my own blog (again) so, are you ready to get lost ? if yes, just wait for my next post :D
